About Jon Stubbington

I am a freelance illustrator and designer, specialising in book covers and book-related artwork.

I have worked with self-publishing indie authors and small press publishers since 2016, creating hundreds of book cover designs for many genres, including fantasy, science fiction, horror, and memoirs.

I also paint character art for authors and publishers. Authors have used my artwork both as inspiration when writing their stories and to promote their books once they have been released.

I am firmly against the use of generative AI in the creation of art and none of my artwork involves the use of generative AI. I have summarised my reasons for not supporting generative AI with links to further articles and information.
