Book a commission with me in August and you will get a 10% discount on the advertised price. This offer is open for book covers, character art, and map commissions.

Does the project have to start/finish in August?

No.

I know people like to book artwork in advance so there is no requirement to either start or finish the project during August. You just need to book the commission during the month to benefit from the discounted price.

The discount should already be applied to all of my premade book covers, so you can purchase them through the normal checkout process.

Is the offer open to existing customers?

Yes.

I love to work with previous clients on new projects. I usually offer a 10% discount to returning customers anyway but if this has not already been applied to your quote then you will also be eligible for a 10% discount.

Some long-standing clients have bespoke pricing for their projects and those will not be eligible for the discount. If you have any questions about what is/isn’t eligible then please ask. You can email me via jon@jonstubbington.com

Do I have to pay a deposit in August?

That will depend on the start date we agree for your project. I typically ask for a 50% deposit with the balance payable on approval of the final design.

The deposit payment needs to be paid before a project starts so, if we agree a start date in August or September, I will issue you with an invoice in advance of that start date. All invoices have a 30 day payment period and I accept payments by card, bank transfer, Paypal, and Apple/Google pay. (Payment methods available to you may vary depending on where you are based in the world).

Why are you doing this?

Times have been tough for all creatives recently. I often see a downturn in bookings over the summer but it has been more marked this year. By offering this discount I want authors and other clients to be able to secure some artwork at a lower cost while also helping me to fill gaps in my schedule. Hopefully it is beneficial to everyone.
